Opening line

“I’m fighting for my life, not your approval.”

You know there’s a problem when the microphone comes out, but you also need to learn to pick your battles. When you put your pride above what is right, you find yourself at the center of an unwinnable situation. You have a tendency to lash out and torment others over minor infractions, but you don’t always have to defend yourself in every argument. When no one raises arms (or hands) in your defense, that loss of loyalty cuts deep. Do not retaliate or let your raw emotions get the best of you though. You may eff someone up and down, sideways and backwards, but you could also just apologize. Sincerely. And multiple times. Sorry goes a long way, but only if there’s accountability behind it. Accept your defeat, stop making excuses, and own your behavior. Admit that you are wrong, not wronged.

I’m innocent!
